You can find travel bargains at the typical sites like hotel.com and sometimes find free nights but they are not permanent and most fit into your schedule.  There is a new site that just start a few years back that allows you to stay in a room in kind of a barter arrangement and in some cases no barter is needed.  Craigslist is also a good place to look but its hit and miss. If you must travel and dont have the money check it out.
